Notes to Contributors
1、Worldscape is an international thematic bilingual journal printed in dual Chinese and English. It covers five main columns including Projects, Articles, Masters /Ateliers, Comments, and Construction & Materials (including plants). The editors encourage the authors to contribute projects or the articles related to the theme of each issue in Chinese-English bilingual. All submissions should be in .doc format. Project's Chinese introduction should be 1000-2500 characters long (for English introduction, 1000-2500 words long), and the submitted Chinese articles should be 2500-4000 characters long (for English articles, 2500-4000 words long).
2、All the submitted articles should be organized in this sequence: title (no more than 20 characters and the English title should be contained), author's name (for Chinese authors, pin yin of the name should be accompanied; for foreign authors, the Chinese translation of the name should be accompanied, if applicable), main body, introduction to the author (including name, gender, native place, official academic credentials, position/title, discipline/research orientation, current employer, city of residence, postal code, E-mail, telephone number). For articles written by two or more authors, please list the names in sequence.
3、All persons, places, scientific names, formulas and symbols should be verified. The English submissions should be word-processed and carefully checked. And the measuring units, symbols, numbers, and terminology should be used in accordance with corresponding national standards. Plants should be accompanied with correct Latin names. The scanned or computer-generated pictures should be sharp and saturated, and the size should be not less than 15cm*20cm. The Gantt chart should be A4-sized. The resolution of digital images should be not less than 300dpi (authors are encouraged to provide a selection of images for the editors to choose from). The resolution of pictures generated by digital camera and digital SLR camera should be not less than 3872*2592, and .jpg formatted pictures are preferred. Annexed tables should be three-lined, and if necessary, auxiliary lines may be used. All tables should be sequenced and correspond to the text. Chinese-English captions should be contained.
4、All the submitted materials should be accompanied with short project information: site, area, client, designer (Atelier or company name), landscape design (landscape architects) and completion (year).
5、All projects' images (to illustrate the concept, design process, construction and built) should be .jpg format. The images should be sent separately and not integrated in the text. All images should be numbered, and the numbers should be represented in the main body of the text. At the end of the text, captions and introductions to the images should be attached (Chinese-English bilingual text). The caption should be formatted as Fig 01 xxx. No more than 20 images should be submitted. Suggestions to image typeset may be attached.
6、Each article accepted will be distributed five copies of the journal.
